Has anyone ever had an issue with what appears to be the spider gears in an ARB locker making noise? Load or coast. Sounds similar to a marble rolling down a washboard. The locker functions well, it's just the noise.
This is an ARB RD 63 that fits a Chry 8 3/4. The unit isn't made by ARB anymore.
Actually, the noise was noticed while it was in the third member on the bench, then noted more so under load. The sound doesn't change engaged or disengaged and does not seem to hinder operation. Just when truckin' down the road does it get annoying. Louder on deacceleration than acceleration.
