axle swap ?s

so just broke my axle on my d30 and i cant get it out and the houseing looks bent, i was wondering if a d44 from a tj will go right in? i want to upgrade it and well now is the time. any ideas on what i should do?

TJ's dont have 44"s in front,the early Rubi's do,and yes they are a direct swap!(They are LP though)
