i searched around but didnt quite come up with the exact answer i was looking for. my question is this, do i need a dual battery (or better battery) and/or heavy duty alternator to support additional lighting on top of the headlights and fog lights?

currently i have a cheap set of autozone running lights (100W i think) wired to where the stock fog lights were but i would like to add a second set for the front and a set of lights for the back. can i do this with a stock setup or do i need to beef up the charging system?

You can probably run that on a stock setup.

However, two batteries alone won't necessarily help in a high amp draw cituation. If they alternator cannot keep up, the volts will drop regardless of how many batteries you have.
