LCA mount on axle is bent

I was surveying and soaking bolts for my upcoming lift project. Looks like the previous owner hit something hard on the lower control arm mount where it attaches to the front axle.

I would love to post pics, but its not an option right now.

It looks as if the mount is crimped together and pinning/wedging the lower control arm in place. In order to remove the LCA , I think I am going to have to hammer the surrounding flange away from the LCA.

Any thoughts on this procedure?

What he said, oh and welcome to the club man, I've had to straighten mine out about 4 times a summer. Last XJ I had, I bought a set of JEEPSPEED LCA mounts from Rusty's after ripping them off the axle...... Well worth the piece of mind if you ask me.
