so i hit my wheel against a curb and it ripped off the control arm bracket off the axle where it welds to the axle. do i have to buy a new axle or not and how do you fix it.

its a 97 sport

You can get replacement brackets, heavy duty ones at that. My buddy dropped a wheel into a hole @ 45 mph, and then replaced all of them for about $100. He did his own welding.

About a month ago a saturn pulled out in front of me...at 55mph...so I too have a bent LCA bracket....the body shop guy bent it back and put a new LCA on.....my question is this: how bad has/could it mess up my alignment?
