Taking apart a Double Cadian..........

If i have a "Double Cardian" joint that appears to have what looks like "pins" instead of clips, can it be taken apart? How would you remove the pins from the outsides of the joint?
It is my desire to see if I can use this "double cardian" becasue of its value!
Can it be done?

A lot of stock GM shafts use an injected fiberglass sorta compound instead of clips. There's a snap ring groove down inside that fills with the compound and hardens.

If that's what it is, then you just press it out and break the filler compound, clean it out, and then your replacement u-joint will probably have c-clips on the inside.
