help busted d30 shaft

my buddy blew a d30 cv axle last night and I have a reguler shaft and hub to throw on. We were hopeing it will just slide it or is the cv axle d30 totally diferent...let me know thanks

As long as the years are close it should slide right in. In other words, 87 - 90 are same and late 90 on up are slightly different. 90 was a break over year for alot of parts including the brake setup on the D30 axles.
