Anyone know the thread size of the AW4 drain plug??

anybody??

what did you strip it out?

No I found some tranny temp sensors in metric size for drain plugs. So I just thought someone would know so I dont have to drain the pan to find out.

Personally I would not want a wired sensor hanging down from a tranny oil pan myself, what I would consider if you just have to have it is one of the drain pan kits for $1.99 and mount it on the side and out of the way.

ok thanks guys, now I have some better options.

I have mine under the oil pan at the front in the hard line.

WOW, and here I used to get nervous with my rear EB cables hanging down...

I've never had any issues, the axle keeps rocks away from it. Short of a log/limb jamming up in there it shouldn't be an issue. I have the engine skid as well.
