The current administration is one big freaking socialist government for the wealthy. The no-bid Halliburton contracts border on fascism. The Bear Stearns fiasco is nothing but a socialist bailout. Government taking money from TAXPAYERS and giving it to corporations.
Socialized health-care is a Bad Thing but socialized banking is good???
Social Security is a Bad Thing but socialize Wall Street control of Social Security is good???
We have allowed the administration to socialize the expenses of war but privatized the profits.
I pray for a socialized government where taxpayer money is funneled BACK TO TAXPAYERS instead of corporations.
I pray for a socialized government where the needs of the citizens are places before the money of lobbyists.
I pray for a socialized government where health and welfare of the citizens are a priority before foreign policy and foreign welfare.
I pray for a socialized government where education is paramount and we turn out a nation full of college graduates instead of 51% of high school dropouts.
Please tell me what the fuck is wrong with socialism? As far as I can tell, free market capitalism has done little to help the citizens of this country during this current administration.
