Shock mounting direction?

Silly question..... which way do I mount Rusty's rear shocks (they are very cheap standard shocks, not gas charged - I don't think)? I believe that on regular shocks like this, the piston points up, and the main body has to be on the bottom?

thats how i mounted mine with the body on the bottom
cause if the shocks were to take a minor hit
i rather it be on the body then the rod..
