blown 4.0

hey guys, i completly blew the 4.0 wheelin yesterday, and i was just wondering, will non h.o and h.o versions of the 4.0 bolt up to my tranny?

its got a 5-speed stick on it.
im also not too sure if i have the h.o version or not..
anyways, looking for any info, or pictures from people who have swapped in a new engine thanks!

Try using the search funtion of this board its been covered many many times.

In short, yes it will bolt right up. All the blocks for the 4.0 are all pretty much the same.

Generaly spaeking, the 87-90 are a bread of thier own. You can use later model HO versions but there are some mods that need to be done. If its a 91+ then it is a HO and I think most if not all are interchangeable.
