While changing tranny fluid I dropped the pan to do the filter as well. When it first came off some stuff fell out into the drain pan. I used a magnetic pick up and got the washers for the drain plug. So I put it all back but when I dumped the old fluid from the catch pan into milk jugs I found 2 small plastic clips at the bottom.
After searching I found that on Go-Jeep he mentioned solenoid retaining clips that came off his. I'm guessing that what these are. Do I need to go back and put them back in? What do they do? How do they go back in, it looks like they just clip in, is it obvious where they go?
