im taking off my oil pan today and am wondering if there is anything i should look out for? its the 2.5l

oil dipping on you when you least expect it, like in the eyes. But on a seriuos note. On the L6 its easier to lift the vehicle up to clear the axle(4X4) or the tube(2wd). I am not sure if this is the same on the 4cyl or not.

would i still need to lift it if I already have a 3" lift installed?
yeah and thanks for the heads up on the oil part, I have some glasses that I wear when working under the truck so I should be okay.
Do I need to mess with the tranny at all or is it pretty much out of the way?
