how do i back out this bolt/sensor?

I did the cluster swap a while back and finally got around to doing the temp sender swap and while putting the old sensor back in the bolt snapped off and the thread stayed in there! HELP!!!

I have two questions:

1. How do I get the thread out
2. Is it safe to drive with it open like that?

1) Use an easy out to get the bolt out.

2) If it is sealed, it should be okay to drive until you can remove it.

sounds funny but is there any easy way to tell if it's sealed?

Let it get to operating temp and look to see if any coolant is coming out.

Mine broke off and then broke my easy out off so i just drilled and taped the t-stat housing and relocated it there.

did you bore out an entire hole or did you splice the wire?...can you send a pic?
