I was wondering if the WJ rear brake calipers can be used on a zj brake disk conversion for an xj?

No it will not work... 100% sure but the mounting is slightly off.. The Explorer calipers will work on the ZJ mounting tabs..

Start by looking at the real numbers.Whats the rotor diameter?Whats the rotor thickness?Whats the calipers overall size(15" rims)?How many pistons?What size pistons?
Id say the biggest question is going to be the required fluid displacement!
