Hey all new to the forum... like what I see so far. I have posted this issue on a different forum with no luck, so lets hope someone has had the same issue.
When I start the engine it will turn over several..several times then fire but die really quick. When I go to start it the second try it fires right up. This usually happens when the engine is cool, but it has happened while warm as well.
Sounds like some sort of fuel delivery problem to me.
Here are some details:
-97 XJ Sport 4.0L 4x4
-new wires
-new plugs
-new Crankshaft position sensor
-new battery
-new Banks torque tube, flowmaster, cat
-just cleaned the throttle body and TPS as well
After all this it still has a hard time starting.
Any ideas would be appreciated!!!
