Hey guys... I am looking at a another spare 242 to install a SYE on, courtesy of Go-Jeeps write up. I haven't gone to see the case in person yet but the seller is checking to make sure it is a 242, 23 spline blah blah,
He sent me pictures. And I noticed that it has a mechanical speedo-cable (that he cut). My jeep is a 1996, and does not have a speedo-cable, it is an electrical connection (like Go-Jeep).
Can my speedo connector be swapped onto this earlier tcase? I am assuming it is the correct spline count that I need (but still waiting for verification). This speedometer issue has me slightly worried though.
