What gear ratio ?

I have a 89 Xj manual trans and I want to put 31 tires on it and I want to know what gear ratio to use ? I think right now I have a 3.07 ratio and everything else on the jeep is stock.

on my 89 with the 5sp and 31's, i have 4.10 gearing.

4:10 is good, 4:56 for serious rocks, just like the thread says..........
