XJ/YJ D-35 axle shaft length

One of my local Jeep guys wants to use my non-c-clip shafts out of my old XJ as spares for his YJ. Are they the same length??? Would the C-clip shafts also be the same length..

from what i know, D35 shafts are compatible between different models, as long as they are both either c-clip or non.

but i don't think you can mix and match c-clip and non, those must match what the housing internals are expecting.

I know you can't mix C-clip for non-Clips.... The bearing is pressed on a Non-clip shaft and the bearing is in the housing with a C-clip
