Engine Speca and tolerances

If someone can clear this up for me with a link then please do.

I am stroking my engine and have seen engine tolerances before but cannot seem to locate them. I need to know how "out of round" the cylinder can be and still be worth a damn. Here are measurements on my most "out of round" cylinder:

Front to back top : 3.81
Front to back bottom : 3.77
Left to right top : 3.77
Left to right bottom : 3.78

I dont know how bad out of whack they can be and not be bored. I'm shooting for the 4.5L and only wanna buy new rings and have it honed.

let me know guys... thanks in advance.

Edit: I also need to know the acceptable clearance from piston to cylinder.

A 4.0? Your numbers don't look right, unless my book is a misprint.

I checked these numbers from an 89 with the numbers from a 99, they are identical.

Yeah i messed up printing all those numbers off my sheet, in the same order they should have been:
3.881
3.877
3.878
3.878

I've been running this stuff all day and just got confused

thanks for your help
