heater blower issues

morning everyone, when i put the heater on floor heat, it also comes out of the side vents somewhat and also the defroster. is that normal or do i have some kind of issue with it. thanks

i would also like to know. i was just guessing that there isn't a good seal on whatever transfers the air to the different vents. :dunno:

Federal law requires that car ventilation systems fail in Defrost mode. Whenever there is a failure in the flaps the system will revert, wholly or partially, to Defrost.
The most common failure is insufficient vacuum to pull the flaps, usually because of a broken or loose vacuum line.

I am having the same issue. I dont think its vacume because all the other setting work except when I set it to floor only it comes out the floor and the defrost.
