Plastic "bubble" thingy on roof?.....

I was planning on mounting my cb radio on the roof above the rearview mirror but there is this plastic cover thing that has a bunch of wires underneath so i didn't mess with it. my question is what is it and would it hurt to mount the cb bracket on it?

Keyless entry 'window' - do you use it? If not, use the bracket for something else.

i have one and dont have keyless entry
