Gears & Locker ????

I am putting a D44 in my 89 with 3.55's I have the chance to lock the rear while im doing the rebuild, the front is already locked. If I lock the rear with the 3.55's will I loose alot of my motor? In essence I will be turning 2 rear wheels instead of 1 ( 32's ). Any thoughts?
