My mom and dad have a 66 cj5 and they need a new carb. Does anyone in the socal area have any or any hints on where to get a 1 barrel carb for the old buick v6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've found that often getting your current carb rebuilt by a reputable shop (or doing it yourself) often results in a much better performing carb than buying a "remanufactured" carb. Often times reman'd carbs have the wrong jets installed, or have the jets bored out with a drill bit (!), and it's not uncommon to get an air leak around the throttle shaft.
