axle swap question???

i am wondring if any one has ever swaped the axels out of a grand cherokee in to a xj i have a 87 xj with the 4.0. is this a worth while swap?? thanks alot for any help

It could be the 35 which is worse. Or it could have the fake 44. Either way you have to cut off buckets LCA and UCA mounts. Weld on perches, and possibley move shock mounts. NOT WORTH IT. Get an 8.8 or a 29 Spline 8 1/4

I cant think of a circumstance where it would be worth it unless the Grands axles are built with lockers and gears.
If they are stock, no, not worth it.
