while i was doing the cluster swap i snapped off the coolant temp sending unit flush with the engine. tried using an easy out but that didn't work. its not leaking. i was thinking about putting a t-fitting in one of the coolant lines and putting the sensor there. does anybody know what would be the best line to get the sensor into? i just need my temp gauge to work so i know if i'm starting to overheat. thanks.

What year model? If its a pre 91 just get the T-stat housing off of a later model and put the sensor in it. You will need to adapt the 3/8" NPT down to 1/8" NPT with a brass adapter you can get at any home improvement center. Then extend the pig tail back to the connector.
