350 engine swap

I have a chevy 350 engine, a chevy 327 engine, a 700r4 tranny and a
350 tranny.
i would hate to get rid of my 4.0 i love it but it is on its last leg
i want to take the 4.0 I6 out because its got almost 300,000 miles and it wont run anymore.
i want to put the 350 or 327 in and im wondering what im gonna have to do to match the tranny up to the transer case.
and also what mods i will have to do to the fire wall and things like that..

You'll need a 231 tc not the 231j.

A 231 can bolt up to a 700r4? You could also find a 241 at a junkyard that i know will bolt right up.

If you have the correct adapter. Chevy used the 231 in s10's. A jeep 231 will not bolt up. The pattern is different.

no whats in my jeep right now is an np231.
but im trying to figure out what i need to do to complete the swap.

I hate to plug a commercial parts business, but advanced adapters has everything you would need. FYI you will need a at least a 4" lift to get the engine compartment clearance you will need to run a SB350.

Its been done many times, but that is all the info I know for sure.

i have a 5 and a half inch rubicon express long arm lift so i think that im good there.
