the front out put bearing on a 242. do you have to split case or can you remove without the split?

IIRC yes...there is a snap ring in there that you must remove to get the bearing out and the case has to be split to get at it. I'm sure someone chime in if I'm wrong...lol

ya there is one on the outside to. I was hopeing to luck out. guess Im out of luck

when I did mine I remember replacing it from the inside. (ther front output bearing)
