Axle swap now brake light?

I swaped in a ford 9" a couple of weeks ago, I left the drums on but replaced the wheel clinders, drums, shoes and brake lines. Now the brake light on the dash is on and I do not know why, the pedal feels a little soft but not bad, and it seems to drive fine. Any ideas? After the lght came on I took it apart and bled them one more time to make sure that everything was good. but still the light.

try bleeding the fronts as well incase some air got in there...

hmm... worth a try but arn't the front connected to a seperate part of the fliud reservoir.

Did you check brake fluid levels? X2 on bleeding the whole system. Did your jeep have ABS?

No ABS and I double and triple checked the fluid level.

It might be the parking brake. I had a similar problem in my Chevorlet.

Disconnect your battery for a few min. then reconnect.

might just be a code from the swap
