Your thoughts on this 97...

Been looking for an XJ for about 3 weeks now and still no luck. I've seen from modded to stock and everytime it gets sold by the time I can take them out for a test drive.

Here's another one I located but wanted to get to get your input.. Asking price $4,800 but will to go down to $4,200. The steering box needs to be replaced, owner has one to replace with.

Looks like all good parts. Did he do the installs or did a shop? Have you driven it? Why's he selling?

Pictures? As far as what you have listed it seems like a decent deal. What rear end is in it? Two or four door?

sounds pretty damn good

has it been regeared

if not that tranny may be beat

but otherwise sounds like a great deal

never mind its got 4.56's

so it probably has an 8.25 rear since those that have a 35 typically run 4.88 with 35's

sounds like a good deal to me. Wish i could have found one built up like that rather going through all the work.

Seller indicates that he has another jeep and needs to get rid of this one. Another thing is the steering box, hope that isn't too hard to change out..

Nah, shouldn't take more than an hr if you work quickly. Only thing is it might require renting some tools.
