pass. side knuckle welds?

when i bought my jeep i knew it had been wrecked before, well i couldnt look at everylittle thing on it, i went to check my nuckles today and the top of my knuckle has been welded around the cap that the grease fitting is on,, and my lower control are mount on the pass. side looks akward, the bolt isnt level with the axle, i have a spare axle out of a 97. think it has 3.55 gears, but the same lower control arm mount is bent side ways and is cracked, what should i do?

You can get new heavy duty control arm axle brackets on the Internet, or cut off an unbent stock one and then have somebody local weld it for you.

From what you describe it seems somebody welded the ball joints into place. I wouldn't drive very far on that axle unless you fix or replace ti.
