home built posi-lock

Has anyone here ever used a home built posi lock for the front CAD style D30? I found this article and I think I am going to try it, but I wanted to get input from somebody who has used it to see how well it works.

I tried searching for variations of "home built posi lock" but got no results.

just search for posi lock, there are alot of threads about this.

Yeah, I found a bunch of info after searching with different key words. I was hoping this post would just fall to the wayside after I searched further.....

Yes, I have done this and it works great so far. It was pretty simple to do. Just make sure you get the correct spring otherwise it could cause problems...and try not to by the cheapest spring you can find either...spend that extra $2 and get the stronger one.
