GC Driveshaft / SYE upgrade

I did a little searching and could not find any solid info.

So... with a 3.5 lift on a 97 Sport and PORC (Advanced Adapters) HD SYE is there a specific year GC front shaft that fits the bill to replace my rear?? I have access to a 96 GC Shaft, but sorta fearful of screwing around with the wrong stuff / wasting $$$. Is it best to just set the money aside for one from Tom Woods? Is it correct that I will not need to worry about the front Drive shaft?

What are some options.

The Grand Cherokee front shaft fits on the rear of my XJ with 8" of lift AX15, NP231, 8.25.

It would be best to measure before then see if you can find one.

if your tranny is the AW4, you can (so I've read here) use the front XJ shaft in the rear. So long as it comes off of another AW4.

anyone know if a front driveshaft from a 93-98 ZJ with the V8 will work on a 99 AW4 with the AA HD SYE?
I'm running a front shaft from another 99 XJ in the rear but have the option of getting one from a zj as a trail spare. anyone know for sure?

I believe the zj shafts are a little longer
