84-96 style mirrir clip available seperately?

I was wondering if the plastic break away piece on the mirrors were available alone or if only come with the whole mirror if so if anyone has the part number

You can get Omix replacement mirrors from Quadratec. They are pretty cheap, like $30 per. They include the breakaway mounts, so you might be able to construct a solution if you don't want to replace the whole mirror.

You have to replace the whole mirror unit... I have a write up on my site.

I replaced my pass side mirror with a new one, and the drivers side with one from a junk yard. If you need the break-away type buy it new, if you don't mind non break-away then you can get them at the junkyard off of sport model XJs, they may have come on other models, but I only saw them on the sport package.

If you get the non break-away from the junk yard make sure you get the gasket, its not the same as the break-away version.
