I am pretty familiar with my jeep, I have done a good amount of work to it like a new clutch, new front hub assemblys, the exaust, and some other minor thing like plugs and wires and stuff like that. So I know my way around it well. I want to replace the Leaf Springs because they are sagging a pretty noticable amount in the rear. I called some shops and it'll run about 500-600 bills for them to do the job. My dad and I have a decent garage setup and we are pretty sure that we could do them but were wondering if there was a cheaper way out than having to buy brand new leafs. I pondered adding some from other vehicles but have no idea what make and model would be eligible to be a donor. Also i want to make the jeep a little higher and was curious what this would entail. I am in kind of in a budget situation and I need to know what the best setup for my application will be. I dont want to go too high seeing that I want to be able to get a sticker legally but I was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of about a 3.5" lift with future 32's or mabyyye 33's. Can someone help me out and give me some ideas?
p.s. I have a 1997 White Cherokee With 124400 miles and 23575R15 BFGoodrich AT's
