Flare Relocation

Anyone who has trimmed the fenders and relocated the flares like the write up in here. How much clearance did it give you? Im currently running RE 3.5 with BB and 31's. If I trimmed would I be able to go 33's with decent movement and not have to worry about cramming a fender everytime I went off road.
 
Do you have the HD rear leaves? You should be OK to run 33s if you trim the fenders, but this is borderline if you're running the stock axles and do any hard off-roading. Are you also running stock gears?
 
Yeah both axles are stock, and I know it will have to be regeared (pathetic now). As far as wheeling nothing major run mostly light trails and take it easy. Im really just trying to get some decent ground clearance.
