Places to go?????????

Do any of you go up around El Mirage dry lake? I used to go there quite a bit years ago but haven't been back for a long time. The roads around the lake to the north led into the mountains with water holes and old mines.
Also on top of the Ortega highway between Lake Elsinore and the coast there was a old dirt road that started at a camping area and led you to the back side of camp Pendleton and then south past Warner Hot Springs about ten miles.
Does anyone know if these areas are still accessible?

El Mirage is still open but I believe alot of the private lands around the lakebed have been posted and or fenced.

The roads in the Cleaveland NF may or may not be open due to fire season, ESA,etc. Check with the FS.
