Relay Question

How many amps are these relays?



They are the stock relays that are under the hood. I have a bunch of them and was thinking about using some for some of my smaller loads, but I am not sure of the amp rating. I have searched and searched the web and have not found anything worth while.

There are some #'s on the top also

I have searched Omron's website with no luck also.

probably 30....dont quote me on it though.

It's a bit smaller than the 30 amp ones. About half the size.

Okay this might help.


One on the left is a your standard 30/40amp relay
Middle is a Siemens 30/40 amp relay. Stock Jeep Relay
Right is an Omron relay that has an unknown amp rating. Stock Jeep Relays

That's a "min-DIN" relay. I don't recall the specific rating, but I'm sure they'll handle 15A without trouble, and you may be able to push them to 20A.

Check Hella - their stuff like that is made by Bosch, and they'll have the standard ratings listed. Hell, Bosch set an awful lot of those standards. I'd have to dig out my catalogues, and I'm not sure where they are at the moment...
