axle shim size?
Just recently put a Rancho 2" add-a-leaf in my 99. I'm getting the standard vibes around 35mph and up. I'd like to try axle shims ( guessing 2 degree) to correct this. Also, I'm thinking that I'll have to replace my u-bolts because with the add-a-leaf they are just about out of thread, and with the shim I may have nothing left. Anyone got any ideas where to get the shims, and what size u-bolts/ centerpins I'll need. I was looking at rancho products just to stay constant. They have shims on 4wheelparts.com, but it doesn't say what degree. Finally, should I invest the $ for the leaf spring clamps. Obviously the old ones didn't fit after the add-a-leaf so right now I have nothing , could this also be part of the problem?
