pining off rev limiter

the past couple weeks or so when i floor the jeep and it downshifts to 1 or 2 the rpm will climb up to 5200 then bounce off the limiter. to shift i have to let off the gas and it will upshift normally. it only seems to happen a WOT. I tested the solenoids all 13.1-13.3 ohms. tcu has power and a good ground the TPS is working correctly. fluid is bright red no leaks i run 2 large coolers up front to keep it cool. the jeep is a 91 trans is from a 98. 4.0 aw4. give me some ideas on what it might be im out.

am i looking in the wrong direction. should i be looking more at the mechanical end like tranny internals it has mabye 70000 miles on it. my last one went to 220000 before the 1 to 2 upshift gave up.

Check your TV cable adjustment.

i tried that last week it didnt seem to make any difference unless i am diong it wrong.
