ok thats kool, ineed to get some clamps, tried Advance, auto zone, pep boys, walmart, , next is nape, whats the chances they wont have then, the only one that i've seen are bold on, like they 'squish' the leafs together. wouldnt that decrease my flex?

Summit Racing sells them for about 10$ a pop, maybe more. They aint cheap but yeah they have the bolt-on ones available.
Don't clamp them down to *squish* them, clamp them down so they can't slide apart sideways. Squishing them will decrease flex by increasing friction between the packs. Don't let the whole thing fall apart, but don't go whale's-ass tight on the clamps either.
Consider sanding and painting the leaves to provide a smoother surface = more flex.

would 1 clamp on each side be enough?
