Universal-joint strap - u-bolt replacement

So, I've ordered two different u-bolt kits for replacement of the universal-joint straps on my Chrysler8.25 and both of them have been too skinny to fit into original bolt holes. The holes are 1.59 inches center/center. I've found part numbers for what _should_ work, but I researched and found them to be for 1 1/8th inch universal-joint caps. Does anyone know what u-bolt has 1.59inch bolt hole width and fits a 1 1/16th inch universal-joint cap?
