hey, i'm going to swap my coils for leaf springs, and before anyone starts up the debate about which is better, i'm gonna do it anyway.:moon: it is an old clunker so if it doesn't work right i can just roll it down a hill. i am thinking about using a stock cherokee leaf pack. has anyone had any experience with this? i know some people add a spring, which one would do best? i will be going spring over.

i'd go with as long a spring as possible.

.. In all seriousness I don't know that a stock XJ leaf pack would take the weight. The rear of the rig weighs a good bit less than the front does.

what leaf pack do you suggest? or if i added a leaf to the xj pack, what leaf?

I'd look for front leafs off of a YJ or half ton pickup.

i hope your replacing the 30 if your goin through all the mess of goin to leaves, YJ leaves a a Dana 44 work perfect for the swap

if your goin through all the trouble of doin a leaf swap why keep it when ya can upgrade?
