Well I was working on hotwireing my jeep, and discovered something confusing in the FSM. Apparently when the key is in the start position, it grounds the parking brake light and the temp sender. Is there any real reason these need to be grounded while starting or does it just to turn the red lights on and nothing else? it works with them not connected to anything. This is on an 87 XJ.
