alloy usa axle u joints

Just a question on my alloyusa chomo u joints, They are about three months old and well greased,( I carry a greasegun in my gearbox and use it too) I was greasing them today and noticed some slight lateral play. normal?? there is no (rotational play) sorry for my lay terminology

How did you notice the play??? what exactly were you doing??

so there is movement between the trunion (cross) and the caps?? ANY movement is bad. does it feel like the caps are "loose"? or are the caps loose in the yoke?

Call Alloy USA.... I know they were having problems w/ their joints and quit selling them to the public until they're fixed... My guess is, they'll send you some Spicer 760's.
