shock questions....

when lookin to buy shocks, they sell 3.5, 4 and 4.5" shocks for lifts...my question is how much of a difference can that .5 make if your runnin a 4 inch lift??

A lot if you bottom out on your shocks.

Unbolt your current shocks. Flex the jeep out until you are on the bumpstops.

Measure the lenght between the upper and lower shock mounting points. Buy a shock that just fits in that space when collapsed without bottoming out.

x2,but make sure you correctly set your bumpstops first!

cause if you bottom them out(either way) youll trash the shocks..
