so i finally got the time to replace the damn CPS in my 92 4.0 and it was 1 of the easiest parts that i have had to change thus far...this was my first CPS i have ever changed. alll the threads that i read said that on your 1st time it could take a few hours.....???? took me 20 minutes, as far as the top bolt goes.....to keep it out of the tranny i used a piece of spare posterboard laying around the house and made myself a little slide for the bolt to glide saftly to the ground. it worked like a charm. i wa able to get my hand in from the top to start the top bolt back in and that made things a little easier also. well, i hope the little posterboard slide idea can help someone next time.

I had my girlfriend do it! Skinny girl arms! Also about 20 minutes on a '92.
