CAN I WIRE BRUSH MY O2 SENSOR?

i HAVE A 96 AND I KNOW I NEED AN O2 SENSOR BUT JUST DONT HAVE THE BUCKS FOR IT AND I THINK IT IS KILLING MY GAS. IF I WIRE BRUSH MUNE WOULD IT DO ANYHTING FOR ME. MAYBE CLEAN IT WITH SOME METAL FREP??????? THANKS!!

Yes, you can wire brush your O2 sensor all day long. If it's not working though, wire brushing it won't do a bit of good. If you replace it you'll save that gas money.

cant you test the 02 sensor with an ohm meter to see if its working properly.

autozone says they can test a O2 sensor I believe their is a meter test that you can do. But brushing it will not help and dont ever spray any kinda cleaner on a O2 sensor!
