For Some Reason My TB Retention Spring That Is Responsible For Putting The Pedal And Transmission On "0" Is getting Stuck Open And Wont Shut Itself (I.E. Sticky) And Its Not The throttle Cable. Any Ideas?

i had a ford escort do this to me, it was the butterfly valve or a sensor that ataches to it was gunked up, i took it apart and cleaned it and it worked fine. i dont know if it will apply to your rig, but its worth a try. check to see if every thing moves freely and smoothly, if you find some thing sticking hose that baby down with some parts cleaner and work it back and forth!

What year? The Renix ones have a bell crank attached below, and when the pivot there wears it can hang up. Uncouple the TB from all the linkages, and check it then. If it still sticks, I'd start taking the TB apart piece by piece. You could start with the TPS, see if that has some kind of glitch in it, then remove the throttle plate, etc. Eventually you'll have to find it.
