the ultimate solution for an overheating XJ
new alum rad
switch to electric fan - but don't even bother hooking it up
run 27" tires with 4.10s
oh yeah, and......drive in -23 C temps.
I can't believe I'm going to need to put a winter front on my XJ to block the cold air from the rad. I can warm it up to 100 C in the driveway (long enough that tstat has opened, temp dropped, then climbed to 100 again) but as soon as I drive away the temp plummets. I am convinced that this is because of the excellent heat dissipation properties of the alum rad.
